My husband and I recently took a trip to NYC to attend a Photo Expo and tour the town. We hopped a bus and toured many parts of the city. The subway and ferry were great adventures. I may have took more pictures of the food we devoured than landmarks.

Great weather and location to shoot Madeline over the weekend. I can’t wait for the Fall season to start!

I was visiting family in NJ when 9/11 happened. We were so close to NY that ashes were floating in the air at my aunt and uncle’s house.

We went blueberry pickin a few weeks back and I caught this shot right after the kids had been running in the rain. No lightening so we just kept pickin in the rain – at least the weather was cooler.

While visiting my in-laws for my annual summer trip, we ate at a small unique market cafe located in Waynesville, GA – http://muchministries.org/blog/. Driving back home after a tasty meal, listening to live music and stuffing a melt in your mouth gooey bar in my stomach…I caught this shot. If you are ever in south GA, check out this market cafe and ministry to the community.

I could have posted the ”smiling” shot while he held the slice in his hands instead of devouring the watermelon but I figured this one showcased his personality better…

My sister and I decided on something different this year to celebrate Mother’s Day. We climbed Stone Mountain and enjoyed the beautiful weather and surroundings God created.

I have no idea how to drive a motorcycle but this bike made me want to snatch it and ride off.

The specks on the photograph are actually a spray of the bubble mixture.

My little sister is not so little and I love that she LOVES taking time out from her day off to spend with her niece at a school fundraiser (www.chestnutmountainchristianacademy.org)

We recently visited my grandmother in SC and stopped by a park I use to play at as a child. I’ve attached my 5 minutes of fame in 1976. Our class took a field trip to the park to see Winnie the Pooh and I thought I just had to touch him one more time before he walked away. I sat my daughter and cousin down on the same wall and explained the story. Once I got home and found the newspaper article, I noticed how much more stylish the girls haircuts were compared to the “bowl” haircuts of the 70′s!! ha!

Well, my daughter has asked to get her LONG hair cut off for several months now. We finally relented. She was 5 the last time she had it chopped.
