While visiting my in-laws for my annual summer trip, we ate at a small unique market cafe located in Waynesville, GA – http://muchministries.org/blog/.  Driving back home after a tasty meal, listening to live music and stuffing a melt in your mouth gooey bar in my stomach…I caught this shot.  If you are ever in south GA, check out this market cafe and ministry to the community.

For Mother’s Day   Leave a comment

My sister and I decided on something different this year to celebrate Mother’s Day.  We climbed Stone Mountain and enjoyed the beautiful weather and surroundings God created.

Natural Lighting   1 comment

This is why you should take pictures 1 hour prior to sundown.  Nothing compares to beautiful natural light.

Jamaica…again   1 comment

This lovely girl has something in common with me!  We both share the name Dana.  I LOVE spending time with the children at the school.  Along my journey, I saw what a banana tree looks like before they turn upwards and drop the bloom.  We also visited a church where a dancer from the US had taught a dance camp that week and I got to see the recital.  The boys eating lunch were tired from running – ever had Curry Chicken and Rice?

Walhalla, SC – where are we?   1 comment

After days of rain, this day started out with beautiful weather!  I had torn an article out of a magazine about this waterfall in Walhalla, SC.  The walk to the observation deck to see the top of the waterfall was EASY.  The trek to the bottom of the waterfall was steep, muddy and slick (I had a muddy leg to prove it).  But oh, it was so well worth it!!!   If you’re ever near the town of Walhalla, you should definitely check out Issaqueena Falls along with the Stumphouse Tunnel.  Right near this area is also Yellow Branch Falls.
